Crimpable hooks are used for the application of intra and extraoral forces on arch wires . crimpable hook or stop having a tubular body with inner wire-engaging surfaces coated with an abrasive material. It produce an anti-sliding and anti-rotating engagement with the wire when crimped down uponthe wire. The ball hook can be bent for right or left applications.
